Have You Fallen Off Track With Your Wellness Goals?

No Worries… I got you!

I get it! Every month we set goals and expectations with the best intentions. However, if the action steps we set to accomplish our goal is not simple and does not match the lifestyle we desire, those goals and expectations become a desire in the wind!

As busy women, we wear many hats and there is always someone in need of our attention. It may be our children asking for a snack 24/7 or getting home later than expected and throwing dinner together, knowing it's not as nutritional as we would like it to be. In the meantime, the kids also need to take a bath and so on.

At the end of the day, you are exhausted and too drained to think about anything else, so you zone out on social media and tell yourself… “tomorrow is another day” !

Does this sound familiar?

One of the hardest things I have learned as a mom is, it's so important to “fill up so we can pour out”!

Here are a few examples to become refreshed:

(have your children join in some too)

1. Set some weekly time aside for yourself, guilt free.

2. Start each day with a few minutes of reading a devotional and prayer.

3. Move your body each day. walks are wonderful.

4. Eat healthy so you feel good.

5. Set boundaries.

6. Stay disciplined and follow through

on the commitments you make to yourself.

When you fill your cup - mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually - your joy and energy will overflow into the rest of your life.

Not only do you benefit, but so do your kids, your husband, your friends and everyone else who knows you.
