How To Have Skin That Glows During The Summer!

How to get your glow back for summer? Raise your hand if the struggle is real with water intake! The bottom line of aging and dry cracked skin is DEHYDRATION! Our bodies are made up of about 70% water. We all need to stay on top of our water intake in the summer because we are losing more than we normally take in on the daily. As adults in the summer we all lose roughly 2 to 3 liters of water a day... no wonder our skin can become easily dull looking! Water can be magical for our skin and our health. Here are a few reasons why it's so important: Hydration: It helps regulate body temperature, lubricates joints, and supports digestion. Brain function: Even mild dehydration can impair brain function, including concentration, mood, and memory. Energy levels: When the body is dehydrated, it can lead to feelings of fatigue and low energy. Skin health: Drinking water can help keep the skin hydrated and healthy. It helps by flushing toxins, which can lead to clearer skin. It can also help reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and dry skin and help maintain skin elasticity. And it can balance oil production which can reduce acne. Weight management: Drinking water can help with weight management by reducing appetite and increasing feelings of fullness. So what can you do to help make sure you are staying hydrated with enough water for glowing skin? Here are some ways to help get your water intake this summer: 1. Drink a glass of water first thing when you wake up, before you even drink coffee. That way you get a jump on your hydration. Add Infuse to it so your body can more effectively hold on to the water you take in during the day. 2. Eat FRUIT by the lake or pool, we can get 20% of our water from fruits like apples, watermelon and blueberries. 3. Set reminders on your phone, computer or your watch to drink water at intervals throughout the day AND have an adorable water jug with you at all times! 4. Taking a hyaluronic acid supplement and adding minerals to your water will help hydrate your body. It will also help deliver the water to your cells, skin, hair, and lessen the signs of aging. I will share a few supplements I add in my water below. 5. Adding a slice of lemon or fruit to your water gives it flavor and adds in extra vitamin C. 6. Water tracking apps are also available. There are various apps available that can help you track your water intake and remind you to drink more water. I hope these suggestions are helpful! Enjoy your summer and enjoy your glowing skin all summer long!

Blessings,
